Policies

What to know before you book. Your therapist goes over draping and pressure again at every visit.

Booking and deposits

Book online or call the desk. Sessions of 90 minutes and club evenings take a deposit that holds your time and goes toward the session.

Canceling and running late

Please give us 24 hours to cancel or move a session. If you are running late, call; a late arrival shortens the session so the next runner starts on time.

If you miss an appointment

If you miss a session without telling us, the held time may be charged as set out when you booked. Call the desk if something went wrong and we will look at it with you.

Children and companions

Massage here is for adults. Please come alone or with an adult who can wait in the lobby. Children cannot stay in the treatment rooms.

Oils, scents and allergies

We use unscented oil and lotion unless you ask for something else, and the desk can tell you every ingredient. Tell us about a nut or fragrance allergy when you book.

Redos and refunds

If a session was not what you asked for, tell us within a week and we will go over it with you.

Tipping

Tips are welcome and never expected. You can add one when you pay at the desk.

Undressing and draping

You are covered by a sheet or towel for the whole session, and only the area being worked is uncovered. Undress to the level you are comfortable with; your therapist leaves the room while you get on the table.

Pressure, consent and stopping

You set the pressure before the session starts, and your therapist checks it partway through. Say lighter or firmer at any time; it is your session.

When to ask your doctor first

If you have a health condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from surgery or an injury, ask your doctor whether massage is right for you before you book. We do not diagnose, and massage does not replace your doctor's care.
